Jim Brady’s Slides are very nice. No? Journalist at the top and moving to generators then responders. Anyone agree?

Social Networking on a newspaper site?!?! All sites are ways to engage community. Says he wants people to live on the site. They have a community.
Jim: Blogs are tremendous community builders.
Don’t want bloggers to be the guys living in their mom’s basement.

i’m interested to see how many people actually set up profiles on these news sites. there are so many social networking options out there and the thought of uploading photos/updating a profile on news site just isn’t appealing to me.
